Summer Blood and Bone Marrow Registration Drive

on Monday, June 30, 2009 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm.

The Johnston Senior Center has made their facility available to The RI Blood Center.  Blood is ALWAYS needed; in addition, the event will also include a Bone Marrow Drive, so please stop by and give of yourself, or come learn more if nothing else.  This  If you have never donated, make a difference this Summer!

Also, come help Daniel Shepard, 8 years old, a Johnston resident who was diagnosed in February with leukemia. He is currently undergoing treatment and will most likely need a marrow transplant. We are asking that the Community come forward and help - help save a life. The Johnston Senior Center has made their facility available to The RI Blood Center. Now you ask, how can you get your business noticed? The North Central Chamber will be there during the drive. At our table, we will be offering goodies and freebies to all those who attend the drive. Attendance is expected to be BIG. Make a BIG impact and make your company noticed with donated goodies and freebies! Doesn't everyone just love something FREE.....
