To our Chamber members, the Staff and the Board of Directors thank you for being part of one of Rhode Island’s re-designed Chambers with benefits and services that are real and valuable to you, the small business owner.
To those of you visiting our website, we invite you to peruse our website and learn more about us.
The Staff and Board of Directors of the North Central Chamber of Commerce would like to encourage everyone to support the small businesses within our communities, especially in today’s difficult economic environment. First and foremost, we all need to “buy small, buy local”! At the North Central Chamber, it’s all about “Businesses supporting Community supporting Businesses”!
Looking to 2012, the North Central Chamber is excited to introduce a new Slate of Officers to the Board of Directors, and is especially looking forward to introducing some new events and opportunities in order to help our small business community.
Kicking off January, we will begin with complimentary Business Spotlights for our members on the homepage of our website – www.ncrichamber.com, a workshop “Get LinkedIn in 2012”, “Meet your Chamber Neighbor” helping to bring back the “Main Street” within our communities, and as always our Annual Board of Directors’ Meeting, with our January “Business After Hours” immediately following.
Our Mission
The North Central Chamber of Commerce is all about businesses supporting communities supporting businesses. We firmly believe in the “buy local” concept and encourage the members of our communities to support our local businesses. In turn, our local businesses support our communities through a number of outreach programs as well as financially contributing to the civic and non-profit organizations within our towns.
For our communities, the Chamber is a resource of business related information as well as support system within the Community.
For our member businesses, we offer a variety of benefits and discounts, educational, lobbying, networking and support opportunities to help local businesses to grow their businesses.
We’re all in this together and we believe that by working together we can achieve common goals and truly enhance everyone’s overall quality of life here in Johnston, North Providence, Smithfield, Scituate, Foster and Glocester.
